Hello! We have two amazing black cats. One is a boy with urination issues, so we have 3 boxes for our two cats. I wanted to move away from clay litter as it seemed wasteful, and I heard it wasn't great for the kitties. So we have switched to a Silica based litter. We love that we are mainly scooping the poops and not the massive lumps of pees our cats take. But now, it seems that it may be too much for the silica? The smell is strong at this point. And its been 2 MAYBE 3 weeks. Also cost wise, its starting to seem like clay was better. I hate the idea of switching back.
So Reddit...what do ya got? We bought pretty litter, and one brand from Petco that we didn't love either. Suggestions???
