So, I graduated with a BA this last December and got into my dream MS program. I needed to move and of course I took my miniature dachshund with me. She's been spoiled all her life and lived in my parents house with a big backyard in a quiet neighborhood while I was off getting my BA. I moved into a townhouse under a sublease with 3 other girls. The townhouse is right next to a very busy road and the townhouse next to us is very noisy. My dog (name: Angel age: 10) has been having a hard time adjusting. If I leave her in the living area while I'm gone her anxiety is fine but then she poops and pees everywhere to coverup the smell of previous tenants. If I leave her in her kennel in my room there's no pee or poop but then she gets anxiety (she goes potty outside and we found a poo and pee spot near the townhouse). I'm moving out in three months to live in an actual house. After that move she'll be better since there won't be as much noise and it wont smell like carpet that hasn't been cleaned since it was installed 10 years ago. Moving her back in with my parents isn't an option. Does anyone have any suggestions to help get me through these three months?
