hi all!
i noticed that my 12-year-old cat has been chewing/licking/scratching herself almost excessively today. she was taken to the vet yesterday and everything (including bloodwork) came back clear, my vet just said to keep an eye on her.
i'm almost positive that it's the litter i'm using (arm and hammer multi-cat). i had her on it for a while last year and noticed that she was scratching her ears a lot, which went away after i changed the litter. the reason i have it again is because her usual was out of stock (still is) and i knew that it worked well (minimal dust/tracking, clumps well, good odour control, etc).
so! i'm looking to find a new litter and a cat-friendly shampoo to help with her itchiness/dry skin (lots of shedding, very flakey). i don't want pellets. price point doesn't matter and i'm located in ontario if that helps with suggestions.
