I'd like to get a small pet for entertainment and company and would appreciate some recommendations. + I'll be near it 24/7 + I have money + long-term love - I'm very sensitive to lights, odor and noise - I don't like frequent cleaning - my apartment can range from about 72 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit
I've been considering small rodents (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils), possibly guinea pigs, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, but I'm worried about poop odors and noise (exercise wheel). I'm also considering aquatic pets (axolotl) and fish, but I'm worried about possible noise from tank filters.
