Hi friends!
So I’m a bit of a helicopter cat parent and I need some advice. I live with my family, but I was gone for a week and in that time they all got COVID. So I have been living in my dads old apartment for two weeks with my cat. I took her with me because I missed her and because I didn’t want to risk her getting sick.
My cat is 2 y/o, she’s a bit skiddish. She takes a while to open up to people. The first couple days here she hid a bit, but now she’s fine. Tomorrow I have to leave from 7 pm until noon/1pm the next day. I’m really nervous!!! Will she be okay alone? I would normally leave music on but there’s no internet or TV at this apartment. I don’t want anyone to ‘check in’ on her cuz I feel like that would scare her more. She’s more comfortable now that she knows it’s only me and her here. I have some calming treats and some Feliway spray.
Do you guys think she be okay here alone overnight? I have left her for about 6 hours the other day while she slept but not yet overnight. Should I drop her off back at home where she’s comfortable?
