We have had our female cat who is spayed for a while now at our apartment. About 5 days ago we brought a 10 week old female kitten home. For the first 4 days we kept them totally separate, with a few interactions with a cracked door. Our older cat seemed to somewhat accept her and hiss less so we decided to let them have some face time face time today. While the kitten runs around to explore, our older cat chases her in a sneaky/creepy way but doesn’t do anything besides the occasional hiss after she sniffs her. Is this normal? It almost seems like she’s hunting her down but in a playful way.
