I recently moved to a new home, and my chihuahua won’t eat. I understand it’s a whole new environment, my partner and I have tried everything. Mixing chicken broth, bacon grease, healthy wet dog food with his hard dog food, anything. We also have had to force him to drink water via syringe. When I come home he’s so happy, wags his tail, jumps on me, etc. he acts like his happy self. Everything is fine except for his eating. I thought maybe it was the new food, so I switched him back to what he was eating before, and he still won’t eat. I don’t know what else to do. I have to literally force him to eat, until he finally gives up and starts eating a tiny bit. Then he stops. I know he’s hungry because if I give him even a small bite of my food he will chomp it down like he’s starving. He’s 8, and I’ve had him since he was a baby, so I love him as if he is my son. Please any advice.
