We have two dogs at my home. One is mine that is treated like a queen and my grandmother's dog that is stuck in her cage all day. There are 3 other people (mom, dad, brother) who live here that sometimes help like take her out to the backyard or pick up her poop in her cage but my grandmother doesn't do anything. She's old and the only reason we accepted her dog was because she would not move in with us without bringing her dog with her from Puerto Rico. She'll bathe her like once a month and sometimes give her food and water but this dog is depressed. She needs check ups and a nice grooming. I only have the time in the money for just my dog because I'm already in school and have a full time job. My dog already has her own medical issues to take care of. I don't want drama. I don't want the dog to end up in a terrible place but what can I do? I've secretly tried to see who else can take her but there's no one. I thought about calling animal control but will my whole family be convicted? Will they take both dogs? Will the dog end up in a worse place? I need help
