so i got a new 8 month old kitten about a month ago and ive been working on getting him to trust me as he is a extremly timid, so far i had gotten to the point where he would come out of his hiding place frequently and sit next to me or smell my finger but i could never touch him, this morning he got stuck on a window curtain and was flailing around so much i was really scared he was going to hurt himself so i tried to help him get free and he started hissing and clawing at me, now i know he must've been very scared but i just hope i haven't essentially erased all the proggress ive made with the little guy! is there anything i can do i guess to make it up to him for the scare or anything to help comfort him? any advice is welcome please!
