I have an eight month old Beagle and he's an absolute darling. He's very attached to me and due to the lockdown, has been receiving constant love and affection. Two days ago, I happened to find an injured cat by the street. I brought her home, got a crate big enough for her and helped her settle down. I'm adopting her since I can't find any of her parents or siblings anywhere. Anyway, since she's home, my dog won't stop sniffing her. At the slightest movement she makes, he barks at her and goes on for hours. I've tried to calm him down but he simply begins nibbling and biting on my hand. He wreaks havoc and cries even if he suspects I'm near the cat. I need my dog to accept her and be friends with her. Could anybody suggest what I can do?
