I have to close my cat almost everytime my family eats a meal because my cat refuses to let us eat. Obviously this is not a great solution but it is the only way we get to eat without stressing out. Other solutions I’ve heard are feeding the cat when we eat, but the cat finishes his food in less than 5 mins and then comes to us for entertainment. He gets ton of play and constant attention as we are home 24/7. Having citrus on our plate wouldn’t help as the smell doesnt repel him. Spray bottle worked for a few days but I don’t like using it against my poor cat. I never really heard of people having this problem so I am curious as to how to solve it. Is this something he will grow out of, as he is still young (8 mos.) and new to our house (its been 6 weeks). I appreciate any advice you have to offer
