This lives in my head rent free. I hate it. I’m 23 years old and I have a dog who literally has the best life ever !!! Since I was a child, I’ve always loved animals. So being the spoiled kid, I got the puppies I wanted. My grandma often took care of my dogs. She made sure they we’re eating correctly and had a nice toasty spot. But they stayed on our patio. Looking back, I often get sad at how much I loved them yet I lacked the attention they deserved. I was young. Not even in high school just yet. I love animals so much and want to rescue when I own a home. But I guess I’m coming here to ask, has anyone else dealt with this guilt ? Maybe I just love animals too much. Idk.
