ive got some questions, they’re simple but i’m new to all this.
first a general one, how often should i be replacing the litter in the litter box? it’s clay litter that clumps if that matters, my cat is a small manx and i only scoop once a day as of right now. also, what’s the best way to clean the litter box when i’m emptying it out?
second is a bit more specific, i think my cat is still adjusting to her new home so she isn’t eating much (it’s been 4 days). what do i do when it’s time to feed her and there’s still food left in the bowl from last time? do i put the new food in with the old food or do i dump out the old food? or do i just leave it be until the old food is gone?
lastly, how do i care for my cat’s teeth? do i need to brush them? how often? what do i use? when i rescued her i was told she had gingivitis not too long ago and it’s been treated, but its best to try to prevent it from coming back. i have no idea how to do this.
