I visited a friend who had two cats and I've realized that I've never it my life really been so close to cats for an extended period, tho I have with dogs. On the way home my back started itching, at first I thought it was just dry skin from the winter. But it seems to have spread from just the my back to random parts of my body (inside the elbow, my hip, my chest, couple new of diff parts of my back). There's only tiny red elevated spots on some parts that itch, others are just red because i've scratched it.
Is this a common sign of pet allergies and will benadryl work ?
Worth noting that I am not sneezing, no runny nose, eyes don't itch either. I'm just itchy around my body.
