Hello! I recently adopted three female mice from a small pet store. The pet store told me that they housed male and female mice together but that they weren't old enough to have babies yet so there wasn't any risk of pregnancy. However....one of my mice has a bit of a larger tummy. I'm a little worried that she may be pregnant.
I am researching more about it and I am anxious because these are my first three mice and I only got them a few days ago. None of them have been tamed yet so I don't know if I should pick her up to check her tummy for nipples? Or feel for babies? I haven't even pet them yet as I am trying to tame them properly and let them get cozy in their new space first.
Any advice on pregnant mice would be appreciated!
Also have no clue how old she is but im assuming this is her first litter. :(
