I have a 1.5 year old Aussie Border collie mix (Layla) and my husband has many reptiles. Recently he got a 5ish foot black copper rat snake (super calm and a really great snake, named Irwin). Now in their enclosures layla loves to watch them move around, never has whined or anything. But when my husband gets Irwin out to work with him, she starts whinning so much and quivering and yipping. I keep her on a harness and leash during this time to help control her but also get her used to seeing them work together. Just wondering if this is something we can work on little by little to get her used to it or if it will do more mental harm than good to let her watch. Thanks in advance for any advice!!
