Species : Cat
Age : Unknown, possibly below 5
Sex/Neuter status : Female, unknown
Breed : Unknown
History : Stray cat, had pneumonia, parasites, fleas, very skinny underweight
We took in a stray cat a couple of months ago and have taken her to the vet for regular check-ups, at first she had pneumonia, parasites, fleas but the vet gave us treatment and antibiotics for those and she has since been better, she was extremely skinny when we first took her in but she has been putting on weight since.
She has always had inconsistent stools, sometimes very solid but then other times very runny - we had her on wet food and dry food, then we switched her to only dry food as that kept her stool more solid and she drinks a lot of water. Her stool was still inconsistent so we took her to the vet and he suggested we put her on hypoallergenic food so we have since done so and are on Purina which is what the vet suggested, as well as fortiflora.
Since switching her to this food her stool has gone a very pale colour, almost green/grey and is very runny most of the time.
Today she had a really runny one and I noticed some sort of red solid things in it and am now panicking, I have attached an image below - can anyone help?! She has never had any blood or anything in her diarrhoea before and this is firm, not like blood (I will of course be taking her to the vet I am booking it in now)
