So first of all- apologies for format as I'm on mobile, and also, I'm in the UK, England to be precise
I have had my lovely old cat for a while now. Rescued him. There have been many, many hiccups, but we have worked through them and he is now the lovely grumpy old man he has the right to be, and we are happy together.
He is not a lap cat. I respect his boundaries with that. We snuggle next to each other, not on top of each other. Perfect.
He will allow me (haha) to go to the bathroom etc. No issue. Not the traditional separation anxiety like I have seen. But if I'm gone longer than 30mins (garden, going out)... he gets vocal. We are so lucky with our neighbours it's not an issue in that sense. I just wonder if anyone has any advice for the not quite so obvious separation problems.
