My 4 year old male neutered cat had some sort of urinary blockage. We caught it quickly and rushed him to an emergency vet where he spent two nights with a catheter in after they cleared the blockage. Today they sent him home, and Im not sure if he's okay. He seems to be struggling quite a bit to urinate still, some is coming out, but it appears to have blood in it. He seems to be in a bit of pain too, and cries when I touch him. Other than that he just seems to want to sleep. He ate and drank a little when he initially arrived home, but other than that he just wants to sleep. We have pain medication for him supplied by the vet and antispasmodic drugs that he's being given. Is this part of the normal recovery process?
