Crazy zoomies help

My 10 month old kitten was a feral but was socialised to humans early on and is the sweetest love bug. When we first brought her home she was a constant bundle of energy and would play for hours until she was panting and exhausted. Over the past month or so she started to calm down and would sleep in the bedroom with us and we wouldn't have to worry about her waking us up. She would play for about 2 hours broken up throughout the day but would generally prefer curling up in my lap and sleeping the day away. However, this week our friend who owns her sister/littermate came over and ever since she has decided to crank up the crazy on her zoomies to 1000. She is constantly running full speed throughout our apartment, play fighting with our dog and ripping her scratching post to pieces. She seems to struggle to be calm and sleeps in much shorter intervals. Am I crazy in thinking smelling her littermate caused this? Nothing else in our life or routine had changed and I worry that she's stressed... Help?
