I'm the breeder of an 18 mo pup who had a retained testicle and the operating vet gave him a prostatectomy and left the testicle.
Horrific things ensued but he's still got the will to live despite it all. His owners are 100% committed to him and are all too aware of his quality of life issues.
One of his issues is a bacterium that is resistant to everything but chloramphenicol. This means he's nauseated because of the mega doses of it.
We really do need some ideas of foods and tricks to entice him to eat so he won't need a feeding tube. Please help.
