Yesterday, my boyfriends dog got put down and he couldn’t be there for her because he spent the night at my house and i can’t help but feel like shit. he was talking about how he wanted to say a proper goodbye but emphasized how it wasn’t my fault. still, i feel awful and i’m grieving as well because i saw her very very often. how can i comfort the loss of his pet, while also needing comfort myself??? i can’t throw my grief at the main person grieving so i’m stuck here with my thoughts and pain.
