So my dog is the sweetest dog ever. She wouldn’t hurt anybody and she loves children. We have these kids on the other side of our fence, and they’re about 4 and 6 years old, and they have this dog that my dog likes to play with. As well as the kids. A few months ago, my dad put a hole in the fence so they could play together and they adore my dog so much. Today they were playing and she (my dog) got almost all her body into the hole about to get her way to the neighbor’s yard. Then my dad warned us (me and my brother) that if we don’t play with the dog, he’ll take her to the shelter. I don’t want that and I try to play with my dog, but she just doesn’t like me. At least I think she doesn’t. She always growls at me when I pet her and she does her dirty looks at me. She only comes to me if she’s sad or if I have food. Long story short, how do I get her to like me? I really love her but she doesn’t like me. I really don’t want her taken away. Advice is greatly appreciated.
