I have a total of 4 cats. One recently diagnosed with cancer a week ago and it’s progressing fast (baso cell carcinoma?). He can’t really lift his head up high because of the pain from cancer that has been growing behind is right ear and into his ear canal. He has not been drinking water, so we put it in his wet can food. The vet gave him I subq fluids today to help hydrate him.
Looking for a fountain that is non toxic (filters, whatever BPA crap the item may have). Maybe ceramic?? Something I can find off of Amazon and can receive within a few days. Hopefully it’ll encourage him to drink water.
Something that doesn’t sit too high up for him. My poor baby needs water. He eats fine, I think he just isn’t interested in water and another vet said cancer contains water and it may be a lot for him. But the vet we saw today said he’s dehydrated (not severely) and asked if I’d like to get him hydrated. It wasn’t expensive and I felt it was necessary. He seemed a bit better once they did
