Need advice for cat with dermatitis

Hello. I have a 10-month-old Bengal cross tabby who has had issues since I got her at 7.5 weeks of age. I have gone through her medical records and she has pyoderma, pruritus, erythema, and dermatitis. She has this extreme itch, over-grooms and bites herself as she grooms, scabbing all over her body and this ear infection that comes (and goes after treated) but returns and has returned for a total of 4 times since I got her.

We have changed her food from chicken-based Royal Canin kitten food (wet and dry kibble) to Rayne rabbit-based (dry kibble) food. She has been tested for ringworm (negative), environmental allergens (negative), and even checked for fleas/mites/etc. (didn't see any). We changed her revolution to advantage (in case she has any parasitic infection), we use Dermachlor Mousse as her topical, and is on prednisolone (but the vet doesn't want her on this and I don't either because it is a steroid and long-term usage can increase her chances of early diabetes). She's referred to the Dermatologist (which I can confidently say is a lot of money) and they would like to do a blood panel, urine sample, allergy testing to see what's up - but there is a chance that even after all this we still don't know what is officially wrong with her.

I"m reaching out to anyone with experience for advice. It's overwhelming, but just want what is the best for my cat. Please, any advice helps.

Thank you
