There are many stray cats that frequent my backyard, and recently I've started letting them hang out in the back room of my apartment. I have my own cat as well, who also uses this room. I spray the carpet often with flea/tick spray (which is supposed to be effective for 7 months), and the cats don't interact directly. Is this safe?
