i hope i'm just being paranoid here, but i don't have much experience with marijuana and i'm a relatively new cat mom. i have a roommate who doesn't smoke weed often, but i think she has been smoking inside her room the last 2 days. i can smell it coming from her room, not super strong but the smell is definitely there.
i have two kittens that are about 10 months old - they spend most of their time on the opposite end of the apartment from her room, but have to walk past to get to my room to eat. sometimes they get curious and sniff near her door. could the smell coming from under her door affect them? i don't know if the smell is the same thing as the smoke, or if the smell is independent of the actual smoke.
edit: the smell is actually starting to permeate the rest of the apartment 😐
