So, I think my vet office thinks of me as one of those panicky new parents. I've had him seen twice for things that turned out to pretty much be non-issues, and called a few times more only to be told "That's normal. Just do xyz." It's my first time taking care of a pet that isn't a fish, so I'm trying my best to figure things out.
In late May, I'm going to be leaving him with a close contact for about a week and a half. The longest I've left him alone before is overnight. He hasn't had any new strange behavior, but he's had a couple consistent issues that they've already seen him for and deemed relative non-issues (occasional coughing + sneezing, sensitive stomach). He's 16 months old and still growing (already outgrew the harness I got for him a few months ago) so I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to bring him in just to make sure everything's good before I leave and check on his size and weight?
Apologies if this is the most helicopter parent looking post in the world. I just love him very much and have absolutely zero experience in this department.
