Cat suddenly limping

Hello I have a female cat around 5/6 years old and suddenly yesterday near dinner time she started limping. When I say suddenly i really mean it, one moment she was perfect and when a friend came by and looked at her, 25 minutes after everything was fine, he noticed she had something in her pawn because she don't touch with it in the ground. I'm afraid it was me stepping her pawn on my heavy gamer computer chair, but if it was so she made no noise at all. Yet I can't find any other explanation.

Yesterday night I could see she was in pain by the way she was acting and noises, and while today it's a bit better as I can touch her pawn gently she is acting weird, not even eating the wet food she always love and is always ready to eat.

I tried touching it very gently today and she let me to, should I touch it more to understand if I can do something? I plan on getting her to a vet today later. I would feel much better taking her right now but I can't because of college classes etc. She also don't want to go outside like she always do first thing in the morning after eating wet food.

Any tips? Maybe I am overreacting but I love cats and always get mad when I see they suffer.

Right now she is laying on my bed not moving at all, just blinking and moving the tail when I pet her.
