To be honest, I’m not even sure how often it should be done, but my husband insists our youngest dog (2.5 years) needs them done again. Yes, she’s scooting, but she’s had diarrhea and I’m thinking constipation for the last little bit, so I’m sure she’s a little irritated down there. We’ve had them done before at our vet, but she came home with bloody stool and even more irritable glands. Her big brother hasn’t ever seemed to have this problem.
Any advice or recommendations for the Salt Lake Valley area in Utah? Banfield was our regular vet, and we have a Petco nearby, but I’m nervous to go either place when reviews for anal glands aren’t easy to find, and we’ve already had bad experiences.
