Hey everyone!
I'll be the first to say I'm no experts when it comes to cats, but I have had cats since I was a child (30 years or so) and I've never had a cat take longer than 4 weeks to master the litter box. Our newest addition just can't seem to figure it out... When he's confined to his room, he will only eliminate in his box, but when he's left out he refuses to go back to his box and just finds any random place and squats. And when I say random, it's totally random. Tile floor random. Middle of the room random.
We're going on 6 weeks of this now, and it's getting to the point where he'll need to be re-homed if I can't figure out how to help him. That would devastate us.
Please Reddit, help me help my Kitty.
