My cat was rescued as a baby and I’ve owned her from week 6 until now, About 6 months old. She would playfully bite all the time as a kitten and that eventually stopped as she realized it wasn’t nice, that was a month or two ago. As of this week something just changed in her and she’s become extremely aggressive towards me and my family. The aggression isn’t constant though and doesn’t really seem to follow a pattern. She’ll lay on my lap for an hour, suddenly get up, attack me and jump away only to return and repeat the process later. This happens all throughout the day but is most prominent at night. I understand cats are nocturnal but she had no problem sleeping with me up until these issues started, she’ll run around all night, making occasional pitstops at my bed to attack me. Super confused as to what’s going on, it’s nothing life threatening, but waking up to my cat aggressively clawing my body every morning isn’t too fun. HELP? how do a discipline her and what is the course of action from here on
