I'm on mobile, so apologies for any formatting issues. So this happened a couple of hours ago. We heard meowing outside our apartment and went to investigate. It turned out to be a cat that seemed half starved and not taken care of. So we took it in and fed it (really hoping we did the right thing with that and didn't overfeed it, it looked like one of those cats you see on animal cruelty pictures).
Problem is, it is currently almost 3am here. Tomorrow nothing is open. We have another cat that has FELV. We've kept them in separate rooms so far, but I'm not sure how long we can keep that up. We obviously don't know what kind of illnesses this cat may have (it's a Persian or Persian mix, so there's some built-in medical issues that are clearly there). Would anyone have any advice? Would this be something to bring to an emergency vet, despite it obviously not being a medical emergency? If it's relevant, I'm in Germany and also relatively new to the country.
