I have a large, 120lb mastiff mix.. he's always super sweet but HATES when people touch his paws. He's about 9 years old now. My wife has had him since he was a puppy. We've been married 4 years. She said he's never cared about getting his nails trimmed until the last year or so when we've tried. Last time we had to put him under to get them done at the vet ($180 later). Does anyone have any tips to get him to let us do it ourselves? We've tried Benadryl based on his weight and that doesn't do the trick.. we have the clippers and the Dremel style tool.. he hates both equally.
