So a little background, my cat, Chairman Meow, has had bad experiences at the vet. She is usually given medication before a visit to calm her down or else she's a monster. She has been under anesthesia twice before for a teeth cleaning and reacted negatively. She'll hiss if people approach her then hide under the bed but she's usually is back to normal after a day or less than 24 hours. However, this time, she is growling and hissing at me after 24 hours. She's also running rapidly around the house hissing and then hiding under the bed. Is there anything I can do? Will she calm down? I can't decide if I should lock her up in the room where she's hiding so she can feel safe or leave the door open. Should I stay in my house or leave for a long period of time? Any advice would be appreciated and any advice for future teeth cleanings will help too. Thank you!
