We’re adopting the newest member of our family tomorrow, a 2 year old deaf cat named Ellis. We have carpeted gear in place for him to climb up to the 8ft high windows and a cat tower in the living room, but we want him to have access to our bedroom while keeping out the three small dogs the other members of the family have. We want to give him the ability to have a small sanctuary of his own when he doesn’t want to be engaged in the more social rooms.
It may be a little too much care, but would like to look for a gate with a ledge to ensure easy access (not sure on Ellis’s jumping ability and if a normal baby/pet gate is all we need). Any advice?
