First time poster - apologies if layout is wrong or incorrect thread
I have always grown up with pets and have been wanting to get a puppy for a long time. I have (like many) been effected by the virus going around and am unemployed so was looking at getting a puppy/dog to add to the family, especially whilst I am home for many months to help settle in/train. (I have a lot of savings and my partner has a steady income so money isn’t an issue for caring appropriately).
However we were planning on moving overseas later this year which is now going to be postponed until at least next year. Looking at going from Australia to the Uk.
I wanted advice on costs and experiences of sending dogs overseas. All are welcome!
We want the additional family member but wanted some opinions first. People seem to travel easily with their pets overseas but there is not a lot of information from Australia to the Uk and it’s hard to enquire when you don’t have a pet and no confirmed travel....
