Anyone know what’s wrong with our cat, Moo?

I’m sorry if this is not allowed to be posted here, but my cat “Moo” is acting oddly strange and we’ve been to a vet and they had no answers. She is about two years old and is very sassy with an attitude, somewhat playful, and definitely wants to be around my wife and I (not so much strangers). Anyways, about 5-6 weeks we’ve been dealing with a different Moo. She is CONSTANTLY self isolating herself either under the bed or in our laundry hamper. She eats very minimum if at all some days, and she’s lost a good 2-5lbs since being like this. She also was self mutilating herself towards the beginning of this issue, but not sure much anymore as the wounds are scabbing over. She doesn’t groom herself anymore either. We did take her to the vet about 3 weeks in and although they were helpful, they didn’t give us any indication to why she’s acting like this. They drew bloodwork and that showed no cause for concern. They did give us some cat steroids and that actually helped for a few days (she was back to maybe 70% as she used to be), but now she’s digressing again always under the bed and it seems worse now than before we took her to the vet. The only other medical thing we see is faster breathing and it’s sort of a steady fast gasp where her chest closes in fast but it doesn’t seem like she’s struggling for air, just breathing faster. She was doing this at the vet though and the vet took her heart rate and didn’t mention any abnormal breathing. I’ve read it could be a symptom of chronic asthma or a heart condition, but she does not show other signs of that such as the purple lips, gagging, coughing, or wincing from what I’ve read about it. If you have ANY idea what this issue could be or how we can help her out please let me know. She currently eats dry cat food (or sort of survives on it), but we’re going to try wet food soon and see if that helps her eat more. We’re pretty concerned at this point and just want to make sure we’re doing everything we can. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and any comments of help for our depressed kitty would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
