Hey guys.
I'm a college student with a little tuxedo cat and a pomchi puppy, both around 9 months old. They each have their own diets, but my mother had informed me it's possible for dogs and cats to share treats / a diet.
I checked this out on google. About 5-6 different links all told me it's really not practical (as in, healthy) for dogs and cats to share a diet due to cats needing taurine and a few other things.
It would be more convenient for me and my wallet if I didn't have to feed my pets separate food, but honestly, their health comes first.
So basically, 1) is there any food that actually IS safe for both cats and dogs? 2) would it be feasible for me to feed my cat and dog the same food and give my cat a dietary supplement to satisfy his dietary needs?
Thanks in advance.
