Hey everyone. As the title suggests, my dog is an asshole. I love her to death, but she is just an asshole. I’m not sure what breed of dog she is, as I live in Thailand and adopted her from an animal rescue that pulls dogs off the streets and tries to give them a new lease on life.
Towards me and my girlfriend, my dog is sweeter than a piece of candy. However.. anyone outside of our fence or gate she just goes into demon mode. We walk her regularly and when I have friends over I always encourage them to get down to her level and try to entice her with some treats to get some pets.. so far.. no one has been able to really pet her with her actually enjoying it. If she comes outside when people are already inside the gate, she’s fine but will cower behind me. Just this evening, she about gave my neighbor a fucking heart attack because she went all demon mode.. normally she doesn’t go for her anymore but I guess she didn’t see her and it spooked her idk.. anyway..I digress.
How can I stop my dog from being a fucking asshole? I know she can be such a sweet and loving companion, and while I’m flattered she trusts me, I just wish she wouldn’t go berserk like she does. It scares people and I don’t want her or other people to be scared at all.
