Currently I have a 3 year old kitty that's been with me for a year and half. She's a bit skittish and has a bit of energy but since me and my partner both work full-time, we haven't been able to play with her as much as we would like. I've heard from friends that two cats are better since they can keep each other occupied. However, I'm not sure if my cat will get along with another cat. I'm also a very anxious person so I don't want to get another cat and regret it.
What are people's experience with introducing another cat? What preparations should I do if I do decide to adopt another cat? I'm very nervous about making this decision so any help would be appreciated!
