So we have an small adult doggo and want to make him a steak dinner. We’re pretty new to making fresh meals for him, and some people say yes to slight olive oil so the steak will cook somehow without it being completely dry. We also saw some videos on people putting salmon oil in their dog’s food. So just to get creative we were wondering if that’s able to be used to sear the pan.
The steak is a small piece and the oil would be “Zesty Paws Pure Salmon Oil Dog & Cat supplement”. People usually use this product to just stir in with their pet’s food.
So if this isn’t possible, is there an alternative besides olive oil? Or is a little olive oil the best way to go? Not adding any seasoning so thought the salmon oil might give it some flavor...like I said we’re new to cooking for him.
