Hello. So, one of the people living in my dads apartment left a cat after she got evicted. The cat’s name is Tiger and is around 1 year old. Tiger is sweet and incredibly friendly. He enjoys eating treats, playing with toys, and getting pet. My dad has fallen in love with him as have I. The problem is my mom refuses to adopt him. How can I get her on board? My family currently had an 11 year old golden retriever and her biggest concern is having to acclimate a new cat with a dog who’s lived here her whole life (my dog’s name is Sadie). What are ways I can propose to make this work? Neutering is rather cheap along with the necessary shots so that’s not a problem. The original owner left a litter box and toys so that isn’t too much of a concern as well. Please give me ideas on how to get my mom on board.
