How do I help my cat cope with food shortages?

With the covid-19 virus I'm in the immuno compromised group and really shouldn't be leaving my home so I've started isolating.

The problem is that I live alone and don't have any family or friends local who can help with supplies. I am pretty sure I have enough food for my cat for maybe the next week at the most but there are no online delivery times available for almost two weeks. I can just eat less and be hungry, but how can I help my cat cope with the fact there might not be any food for a week? Do I start rationing it now? I'm really worried he'll run away or go elsewhere for food and not come back.

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid I've just never dealt with anything like this before and I don't know how he is going to react
