I am out of a job for at least two weeks and since I'm a server its hitting me hard because I cant work from home and I wont be getting paid. I rescued a stray before this all happened and randomly found this vet clinic because they were the nicest and easiest to get an appointment in. He had a follow up appointment for monday which I wasnt too worried about at the time because then I wasnt worried about the threat of my job yet. I got told Monday I couldn't work anymore and like everyone else I got super stressed about it. But I was more stressed because my little stray baby is still sick and I cant miss health care for him but now I cant pay for it.
I called my vet today and asked if they could give me a price of this next visit if they could and explained my situation and why I was so worried about the price. They were so nice and understanding and on top of it told me to apply to work there. She told me she really felt for us service industry folks rn and if I wanted I could work with them. Of course I said yes I'm gonna put in an application tomorrow. I have always wanted to work with animals and now I have a chance to have money coming in again. It makes me tear up thinking about how my vet who I only visited once so far was so kind and understanding and was willing to offer me a job through this. I'm praying they will seriously consider this application because this will be life changing for me.
