Recently I adopted a kitten, and found out she has ringworm.
She’s been in a separate room which is cleaned every day, and I make sure to not touch her & when I go see her, I wear gloves/ long sleeves/sweatpants/thick socks and sandals.
Well, today she suddenly jumped on my leg for a second, and five minutes after I left the room I realized she had scratched through my thick sweatpants.
I immediately took a shower/changed my clothes, but am still worried. Can ringworm be transmitted through scratches? Thanks for any help
