My male cat(about a year old) has been perfectly litter box trained since the day I got him when he was just a kitten, and he has never had a single accident. That was until two nights ago. I woke up to him looking me straight in the eyes and peeing on my pillow inches from my head at around 5 am. I pushed him off the bed and put my sheets and pillows in the washer. I brushed it off as an isolated incident. The next night I woke up to another wet pillow at 5 am. I washed all my bedding again, and when my mom found out about him messing in her house, she demanded I get him neutered. I made the appointment for two weeks from now, and and she thinks that will fix it. But last night he crossed a line. At 5 am I woke up to my cat literally pissing on my face. This is a completely new thing, and he always does it at the exact same time of the night. He uses his litter box every other time of the day, so I don’t understand what’s wrong. He’s a great cat otherwise, and if I can’t get the situation under control, my parents will make me get rid of him. Why is he doing this and how can I stop it?
