visibly healthy, reactive cat is suddenly more affectionate?

I don't know in which /r this question should be so my apologies,

4 days ago my cat became sick, vomited 2 or 3 times during the night and 1 time after eating grass in the morning, then "healed" after sleeping a lot and recovered within a day. (we suspect she drank from a forgotten bucket with water+dish cleaner? but this is only a guess)

She now looks healthy and doesn't show any sign of illness, but now she sometimes waits at my feet when I'm sitting at the computer for me to pick her up and lay her on my lap, where she snoozes and purrs/kneads until I have to get up.

This ONLY started 4 days ago, before that she would frantically jump away when put on my lap.

She is 4 years old, spayed, indoor/outdoor but stays indoors, reactive, eats, pees and poops, even went outside and made "friends" with a random cat (I kept a watch on her), she is also prone to anxiety.

I was just wondering if I should be worried, in general. Has she simply discovered that I'm comfy?
