Will my chihuahua puppy be happy?

I am looking on adopting a chihuahua puppy anytime now! To start out, I am 22 and have grown up with 4 dogs at a time my whole life, including my family's 13 year old chihuahua which was MY BABY. She's too comfortable living at home so I cannot have her live with me, sadly. After having a chihuahua I know thats the dog I need to have....

SO THE MAIN QUESTION......do you think I will be able to have a chihuahua live comfortably in my studio apartment (allows dogs, both my neighbors have dogs that bark occasionally). Out front there's a little fenced in doggy area with fake grass which is great when its nice out, but I want to use puppy pads.

My main concern.....I work 30-35 hours/4 days a week at a clinic. My days are about 8/9 hours long where I wont be home. Will I be able to get a chihuahua puppy that's weeks old when I'll have to leave it alone in a few days when I have to go back to work? When I go to work I can bring my puppy to my parents, grandparents, aunts, friends even, or doggy daycare but i wont want to do that EVERYDAY for YEARS you know? Or would that be a better idea to start out with until my puppy gets more comfortable and what not? I would be able to afford doggy daycare 4 days a week if that would be the best option - or doggy daycare some days and some days stay home alone. Having the money isn't the issue it's will my puppy be able to stay in my studio apartment alone when i go to work (i could get a dog camera) or is that not do-able for a brand new chihuahua puppy? This is the only thing thats making me rethink it but if that wouldn't be an issue to leave a chihuahua home alone for that long that often I'd go get a puppy tomorrow!! I've taken a lot of time to think about it and would like to know what others think.

AHHHHH Im so excited for a puppy but I don't want to feel guilty. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!!!
