My nine week old kitten has worms. I'm not sure what kind, and I haven't seen any in his feces. he started his medication today. I am receiving mixed information about what to do. he frequently crawls into my bed (which is just a mattress on the floor) and likes to sleep next to my head. I can't keep him out of this area because it's super accessible. I also have only one change of sheets, and the drier is broken (so the washing machine works, but everything has to hang inside to dry because of the rain outside). I also don't have any gloves to change the litter with because of the shortage due to covid-19. Might I be laying in worms? can I contract them? should I keep my kitten in his kennel at night? AHHH!!! I'm at a loss. If he has fleas, they could easily get in my mouth as well. I'm not a germaphobe, but the hospitals are flooded right now and I REALLY don't want worms anywhere near my own intestines. help!
